Every year, several sports games are released however NBA Live's annual edition always ends up being among the most popular. The latest version is no different, with its high tech graphics, new jerseys, and resolution, this final edition of NBA Live has garnered very positive reviews.
NBA Live 2010 featured additional jerseys, a first for the franchise. Throwback jerseys from the 1980s and 1990s were added in as well as several alternate ones for a number of teams. Using special codes, even more uniforms and shoes can be unlocked. It is unsure if every team will receive new game jerseys but two codes have been announced so far and more are likely to come. The graphics in this game received a massive overhaul. The game features quicker and smoother animations that allow for maximum play. Items like the lights and courts were designed to look very realistic. It's a bit grainy when enhanced on plasma screens but generally looks extremely well. Other smaller graphics like the background and the players are more detailed as well. Unlike previous installments, this year's NBA Live game has a much more realistic background. The members of the crowd were designed to look more real and lifelike. Even the players themselves were give more exact and personal details such as tattoos, hairstyles, and other accessories. The basketball stars in this edition were made to be more easily recognized than previous ones. The game's controls were altered slightly so that it isn't necessary to control the players one hundred percent of the time. Using this auto mode can result in more turnovers though. For those who want to, it is quite possible to expand the control over the players. The game play is simple enough so that even people who have never played a basketball game can quickly get the hang of it. Actions like shooting and passing are both single button functions. And both the Xbox and PlayStation controllers use the right joy stick to move the basketball players. Playing defense is simple as well, simply position your player near one from the other team and he will do the rest automatically.
The revamp of the players' DNA from previous versions has largely improved too. The last edition's DNA will update each NBA player's abilities and attitudes nearly instantly. This latest version will also let players to compete in real games nearly as they occur in real time. And with the NBA's rosters and change ups updating immediately inside the game, it means for a much better Dynasty Mode too.

2006 - FIFA 07
The first FIFA game to touch the XBox 360, it marked the refinement of the franchise. It stripped down the available teams and instead focused on the four European leagues as well as the Mexican Clausura and national teams. The atmosphere has also been dramatically improved with the crowd now reacting in a more human manner. They will react to the different events throughout the game, the crowd will be local to the region where the match is taking place and there will also be differing sizes of support, such as a small part of the crowd cheering away, while the rest is home.

Improvements from the previous game include 'Be a Pro Mode', which allows a player to play the match as a single player (bar goalkeeper), as opposed to the ability to swap between them. Thanks to the advancement of multiplayer in many games, online cooperative play is now included and the online portion of the game now includes interactive leagues. This allows to choose a league and team to play against a real opponent and has been improved since similar, previous features by including trick moves. Overall changes in the game mark a decrease in the speed of the game.
2008
Containing perhaps the largest assortment of improvements from any of the FIFA games, this one contains hundreds, according to the game's producer. An addition to the gameplay is the responsiveness refinement, which allows for an increased measure of control over the ball and a new collision system that takes into account the speed, weight and power of the two players that collide. The goalkeeper has also seen its own improvement as they now utilize better positioning, recovery and reactions.

FIFA 10 is the latest FIFA game available and brings less improvement, but perhaps more important ones for some gamers. The Manager Mode sees its major revision for this iteration. The user can now employ an Assistant Manager to deal with the team line-up as well as other squad-specific details. Additionally, finances are less focused on the sponsors and more on the wages dealt to them. The Manager Mode also shows news about other people's own Manager events. One exceptional improvement is the Auto-Resolve, which is no longer apparently random, but resolves a match based on each team's strength now.
